Marketing Strategies I learned from Bruno Mars this weekend

Welcome back to Ride With Me. Normally this show is my ride to work. This week… we're on location in Detroit. So instead of a ride to work… you're getting a walk to work. On today's episode, I break down one of the biggest lessons I took away from this weekend's Big Screen Breakdown clips and why Bruno Mars' tour may actually be one of the smartest live entertainment case studies happening right now. The strategy isn't complicated. Great music. Great crowd shots. Great timing. But the execution creates something bigger: fans stop feeling like they're watching the show… and start feeling like they're part of it. That matters. Because today's content ecosystem rewards authenticity over perfection. The most effective social content no longer feels over-produced. It feels real. Immediate. Human. And if that's what audiences are gravitating toward online… why wouldn't the same psychology apply inside live entertainment experiences? Sometimes the "simple" execution is actually the smartest one. I also talk about why these moments continue to go viral and why operators need systems in place to identify, clip, and distribute these moments quickly while the internet still cares. And yes… my feed continues convincing me I missed out by not going to Bruno Mars on tour.
