10 years ago I had my final game day with the Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium…
I learned so much in my time there, but here are a few of my favorites:
- Trust your gut and your people
- Pay attention to all of the lessons around you
- Not everyone wants you to succeed
- The logo on my card provided validation to those who didn’t know what I was capable of and that was it
- Be yourself, that’s what got you here
Those are all great, but my favorite thing I learned was about culture and community. Arriving in Miami allowed a DJ from Boston the opportunity to work with so many amazing people from all different backgrounds. Over time we became a community and for some even a family. I loved my time there so much, but I really loved the people who I shared the time with.
Eddie and Everton are the only two pictured here, but there are so many others that were and still are an important part of my life.
Another chapter of doing cool stuff with even better people!
