I had a realization recently about the business we've built at CUENTO Marketing.

I had a realization recently about the business we've built at CUENTO Marketing (opens the CUENTO site in a new tab).
At the end of the day, our business is people and their work.
Our job is to find incredibly talented people, invest in them, coach them, challenge them, and then give our partners access to fractions of that talent when and where they need it.
The more I thought about that, the more I realized how much of my entire career has been defined by the people I've had the opportunity to work alongside.
People who taught me, challenged me and took a chance on me. People I took a chance on. People who stayed late, solved problems, raised the standard and figured things out when figuring them out seemed impossible.
Some were executives. Some were interns. Some were creatives. Some were operators.
The title never mattered nearly as much as the work.
So this Labor Day, I'm especially grateful for everyone I've had the privilege of working alongside throughout my career, and for the incredible group of people who make CUENTO what it is today.
The work matters.
But the people doing it matter a whole lot more.
Happy Labor Day to everyone putting in the work. 👊

We have a tendency in business to take people who are great at their jobs and eventually put people underneath them.
