A former DJ employee ran a side DJ business for 15 years, earning a second salary; side…

Do you know who this is?
There’s a great lesson in this billboard.
This is Sam Roberts from SiriusXM.
He went from intern…
to character…
to co-host…
to hosting his own show.
Most people would stop there.
Celebrate it.
Protect it.
Stay in that lane.
Sam didn’t.
Because what he really loved… was WWE.
So in his free time, he started creating content about it.
Podcasts.
YouTube shows.
A small studio in his basement.
Nothing fancy. Just consistent work around something he cared about.
Then something interesting happened.
WWE took notice.
They brought him in as an on-air personality.
And then it all connected.
Sirius XM, where he built his original career, needed a host for a new wrestling show.
Guess who got the call?
Sam Roberts.
Some people will call that luck.
But it’s not.
It’s what happens when you build something around what you actually love… and stay consistent long enough for the right people to notice.
Your “side project” might not stay on the side.
