From idea… to execution.
This one was fun.
What started as a simple question:
What if we created something to celebrate the Padres’ new City Connect?
Turned into a the launch of Ballast Point’s Super Lager.
This wasn’t just a product launch.
It was a process.
• Idea
• Partnership alignment
• Strategy
• Creative development
• Packaging design
• Product build
• Production
• Activation planning
• Launch execution
Every step required trust, collaboration, and a shared vision.
Our team at CUENTO Marketing (opens the CUENTO site in a new tab) partnered with Ballast Point Brewing Company to bring it all together… from concept to team partnership to shelf to experience.
And this past weekend…
We saw it come to life at the Little Italy taproom during a San Diego Padres Mexico City Series watch party.
Packed house.
Great energy.
Game on the screens.
Product in hand.
Story being told in real time.
That’s the goal.
Not just to create something…
But to bring people into it.
Huge credit to the Ballast Point team (Brendan Watters, Mike Georgopoulos, Jamie Kelly,Sarah Keckler, Jim Rudy, Kara Taylor and more) and our partners at the Padres (Sergio del Prado & Eddie Quinn) for trusting the process and pushing it forward.
Lastly, my teammates at CUENTO for just knocking this out of the park. (Nicole Miller & Brennan Scott and more)
This is what happens when alignment meets execution.
