Super Bowl week always brings back incredible memories—but one I’m most proud of is our presence on Radio Row way back in the day. 🎙️🏈
When I arrived at the Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium, Jim Rushton challenged me to clear the slate of what I knew about traditional radio shows and reimagine the future.
So in 2010, we launched “The Finsiders”—a daily multi-platform show that was:
✅ Broadcast live in afternoon drive on the radio
✅ Streamed live on our website
✅ Eventually aired on Fox Sports Florida
💡 Being ahead of its time came with challenges.
Fast forward, and we decided to take our show to Radio Row at the Super Bowl. We wanted to bring high-quality football content to our listeners—but there was one issue:
👉 Explaining that our “radio show” needed more space because we had video cameras. 🎥
It took some convincing, but we made it happen.
Now, seeing National Football League (NFL) Media Row filled with multi-platform shows, I can’t help but smile.
🔥 Lesson from this: Challenging the norm isn’t easy—but that doesn’t mean you’re wrong. Keep pushing, keep innovating, and keep creating what you believe in. 🚀
