Observation

Facing the loss of their biggest client brought stress and fear, but they closed new deals…

Staring down the barrel of losing your biggest client—and realizing you can’t close a deal to replace them—is a gut punch like no other.

Staring down the barrel of losing your biggest client—and realizing you can’t close a deal to replace them—is a gut punch like no other.

Stress.

Fear.

Depression.

All of it hit me.

For a moment.

It was one of the scariest times in my career. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t see a way out.

I know people see the wins now—the incredible work, the growth, the new partners—and assume it’s all been up and to the right. But being the one responsible for driving revenue, maintaining relationships, and still delivering creative ideas when it feels like the walls are closing in? That’s not for everyone.

But it is for me.

That moment was years ago, and not only did we weather that storm—we closed new deals before that partner even left. And the following year, we didn’t just replace the lost revenue… we grew again.

That’s the grind.

That’s entrepreneurship.

And I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
