I was sad to read this morning that the TGI Fridays where I bartended for years has now officially closed its doors. It was yet another reminder of the ever evolving world and that as much as you want to preserve a time capsule that you can visit from time to time, that’s just not how it works.
I made so many friends, learned so many lessons and broke so many bottles! And made a whopping $2.63/hr. (+ tips, but we don’t talk about that)
No matter what industry you are in, you better evolve or you will dissolve.
