Unpopular opinion: Sebastian Maniscalco isn't responsible for protecting hundreds of other comedians' income.

I saw this quote from Chris Sale recently that made me shake my head.
The Atlanta Braves pitcher said he will never challenge balls and strikes because he’s not an umpire.
I understand respecting the role.
But refusing to use a tool that exists to help you win?
That makes no sense to me.
And it happens in business every day.
Look at AI.
Look at automation.
Look at technology that can make teams faster, smarter, and more effective.
The tools exist.
Yet many leaders refuse to use them.
Not because they don’t work.
Because of fear, ego, or resistance to change.
Sports has always been a preview of what happens in business.
The teams that win use every legal advantage available.
The ones that don’t?
Eventually get passed.
The real lesson isn’t about balls and strikes.
It’s about mindset.
If the tool exists to help you win…
Why wouldn’t you use it?
