IT’S OK TO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU WANT TO DO! 💡

This picture is from my time at the Polk County Florida Police Academy. Yes, I went to and graduated from the police academy when I was 19 years old. 🎓🚔

After graduation, I returned home to Boston, filled in for a DJ at a bar, and well… that changed a few things. Ha! 🎶

I think it’s absolutely insane to apply the pressure to 17, 19, or 23-year-olds to know what they want to do for the rest of their lives. Here’s the honest truth:

• Some will know the answer ✔️

• Most will think they know the answer 🤔

• And the rest are terrified of the question—and that was me. 😰

There were countless times in that journey that I didn’t know what I wanted or should be doing! 😅

Please—I beg of you—do not put that pressure on yourself or someone you love. Instead, embrace the journey and encourage exploration of experiences and the learning of skills. 🌱

This is a journey, not a destination. Celebrate that and release the pressure valve. 🎉
