One of my favorite memories from my front office years had nothing to do with marketing.

It was sharing an All Star week with my best friend since 3rd grade.

Steve is a lifelong baseball fan, and somehow life led me to become the CMO of an MLB team hosting the All-Star Game.

I had one guest pass for all the festivities.

My incredible wife gave up her spot without hesitation so Steve could experience it instead.

Ten years later, it’s still one of the moments I think about most.

Watching everything we had worked so hard to create through the eyes of someone who simply loved the game reminded me why experiences matter.

We’re all busy. We’re all tired. There will always be another reason to wait.

Don’t.

Create the memory. Invite the friend. Take the trip.

Years later, you won’t remember the inconvenience.

You’ll remember the moment.
