The biggest lessons I’ve learned from my mentors haven’t always been about business strategy—they’ve been about people.

The biggest lessons I’ve learned from my mentors haven’t always been about business strategy—they’ve been about people.
That’s why at our annual CUENTO (opens the CUENTO site in a new tab) House Retreat… we always do karaoke.
Why? Because karaoke is the ultimate equalizer.
• Everyone can participate
• Stars are born
• You learn a lot about people
• It breaks down walls instantly
• And most importantly… it’s fun
My appreciation for karaoke started with Jay Deutsch and the legendary BDA, LLC Think Tanks. Bringing people together from across the sports industry and dropping them into a karaoke room has a way of creating real connection. Many friendships I have today started with a group song… and sometimes a questionable dance move.
So now we bring that same spirit to CUENTO Marketing. It works every time.
What’s your go-to karaoke song?
