Sharing your story internally keeps leadership informed; well-performing departments look…

Sharing your story goes beyond just marketing – it's essential for keeping your leadership team informed about your department's progress.

Iceberg diagram: a boat labeled "Your Leaders" floats above the waterline next to an iceberg labeled "What You Share" above and "All the work that is happening" below the surface.

Sharing your story goes beyond just marketing – it's essential for keeping your leadership team informed about your department's progress.

Throughout my career, I've noticed a common thread: people dislike unexpected surprises. Yet, it's interesting how we often overlook the importance of regularly updating our leaders about our ongoing initiatives.

Lately, I've engaged with several businesses facing a similar challenge. Partners have approached me to evaluate certain departments, seeking clarity on their activities. Interestingly, upon closer inspection, these departments are performing well. The missing link? Their ability to communicate the 'what', 'why' and ‘how’ effectively.

-What projects are currently occupying your attention?

-What outcomes are you aiming to achieve?

-Why have you opted for this particular approach?

-How does this contribute to our overarching strategy?
