Observation
I see a lot of in-game entertainment ideas.
Very few make me genuinely jealous that I didn’t think of them first.
The Kansas City Royals’ hot dog in-bun inflatable contest is one of them. 🌭😂
This is brilliant.
It’s funny. It’s incredibly visual. The entire ballpark understands what’s happening almost immediately.
But the magic is the participation.
The fans ARE the entertainment.
They’re competing, the crowd is reacting, and everyone is waiting to see if they can actually get the hot dog into the bun.
This is exactly what I mean by Participation over observation.
Don’t just create something for fans to watch. Create opportunities for them to become part of the show.
More creativity. More ridiculousness. More reasons for fans to participate.
More, more, more of this, please.
Absolute kudos to the Royals. 👏
