“You can truly appreciate a day like today when you have had some really bad days!”

Packing up with a friend and moving 1,500 miles away was hard, but running out of money was terrifying. We worked hard, but couldn’t find a way to make enough to pay our bills. Eventually we needed to move home, my car would be repossessed, and my debt would grow. It was very scary place to be at such a young age. No direction, or purpose, or way out of the darkness.

This pic of my friend Michelle and I waiting tables at the Olive Garden back then reminded me of how far I have come and how thankful I am for the entire journey. I know I would not have appreciated the great moments through my life as much, had I never experienced these lows.

This picture is also a reminder of how fortunate I have been to always have amazing people around me! As we head into the week of Thanksgiving, I wanted to get ahead of it and say thank you for all of the support that we have received in the last year. Starting a company of our own has been a dream come true and the results of the effort has been even more incredible.
